Dr. Gaurav Singh
Gaurav finished his basic medical degree from James Cook University in Townsville, before moving to Sydney and completing his training in General Practice. He further explored his interest in accident and emergency by working as a locum emergency doctor in various rural towns all over Australia before making Brisbane his home again.
He gets along with children and has interests in occupational health as well as, acute medicine. Having worked in an emergency department, Gaurav enjoys minor procedures such as ingrown toe nail, wedge resection and emergency medicine.
Gaurav has also done Mater Mothers Hospital alignment course and is able to provide shared care for pregnancies.
Having lived in India till age of 11 he is also fluent in Hindi.
In his spare time, Gaurav loves to watch AFL, has not missed State Of Origin in recent memory, travelling the world and spend time with friends and family. He also enjoys playing futsal, camping and trekking.
During the 2020 COVID year, Gaurav has enjoyed going to plenty of AFL games at the Gabba including the Grand Final. While he couldn't travel much but his wife tells us that motivated them to utilise this time to have a baby with their coronial due to arrive in February 21.
