Dr Daniel Jak

Dr Daniel Jak earned his medical qualifications from Griffith University in 2021. Following his graduation, Dr Jak has pursued a dynamic and fulfilling career in medicine, working in various departments within the hospital setting with particular focus on obstetrics and gynaecology as well as critical care medicine. His diverse experience has allowed him to develop a broad and comprehensive skill set, enhancing his ability to provide exceptional patient care.

Prior to commencing a career in medicine, Dr Jak served in the Australian Defence Force, which he credits as being the foundation of the discipline that enabled him to go on to complete both his Bachelor of Physiotherapy and subsequent Doctor of Medicine degrees. Dr Daniel is the father to 4 young children and an active member in the local Western Suburbs community where he lives. He enjoys various passions and hobbies outside of work including golf and gardening, however his love for coffee surpasses all other interests, going so far as to own and operate a small coffee cart in Brisbane.

Dr Jak has a particular interest in obstetrics and gynaecology, where his dedication and passion for women's health shine through. He is committed to supporting women through various stages of their reproductive health, ensuring they receive compassionate and expert care. Additionally, Dr Daniel has a keen interest in performing minor procedures, bringing precision and attentiveness to each procedure he undertakes. Other special areas of interest include both paediatrics and veterans health care, where he draws on lived experience as both a parent and a military veteran to allow himself to better understand the needs of his patients.
